I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Please support me in my effort to raise funds for childhood cancer research!

This all started with a conversation I had at work with a customer. I was admiring her short haircut and shared that I sometimes think about shaving my head bald just to see what my head looks like. She said, "do it for St. Baldricks!" "That's a great idea!" I replied. So here I am. I have been personally touched by this disease, losing all four grandparents and an aunt to cancer. No children should have to go through that kind of pain and suffering, or have their lives cut tragically short. Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the US, and childhood cancer research is seriously underfunded. Please read about the kids I am honoring to further understand why I am doing this. I am also honoring my friend Laura who just finished her last chemo treatment after a year-long battle with lymphoma!

St. Baldrick's funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
