I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Alyse

My name is Katelyn Landerman and I am a senior in High School! There are many reasons I am shaving my head, but the most important reason is that there are kids that battle with cancer and hair loss everyday. I have had hair all my life, if I am able to give it away to a little girl or boy who has not had that opportunity, or who has lost it due to cancer, that would make such an impact on my life! Another reason is I recently lost one of my best friends, Alyse Zabel, to cancer. She was an amazing girl and a wonderful person inside and out! Alyse inspired me so much that I am shaving my head in honor of her, because I consider her to be my TRUE HERO!!!! My goal is to raise $2,000.00!!!! With your help, we can find a way to cure childhood cancer, so that every kid has a chance at a healthy life!!!!
