I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Sadie Girl

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I am Sadies Aunt Shawnna. Sadie is my one and only neice. She is so special to me. She is my little puff bug. I want her to be well and be able to enjoy the world everyday as any other child her age should. It is so sad to me that this illness has bestowed its presence on her. People that have well children have NO idea how this effects a family as a whole. I am a mother of 4 and i can not imagine having one of my children sick like Sade is. It is a challange everyday for her and her parents. It is so hard to stand back and watch the toll it takes mentally and physically on each of them. She is so small and so gifted. I wish the world could see how very specail and unique she really is. She is my warrior princess. I pray for her a million times a day. I anticipate the day she is cancer free and can run and play and be the 4 year old she is suppose to be. Please help find a cure for this sickness. Donate to this team or any team for that matter and help St.Baldricks make a difference. It is important that this stops infecting our beautiful children.
