I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Baldstrong!

It's no secret that I don't have much hair. In order to even have the smidgen amount that I shave off each year, it takes months of concentration and scalp squeezing. Each day I talk to my hair and encourage its growth (You are beautiful! You'll curl if you get long enough!) There are weekly scalp massages and follicle stretching, but never any performance enhancing drugs. It's hard work and quite honestly, growing hair isn't for everyone, but I grow my hair just for this event each year.
I support St. Baldrick's in memory of my mother, MaryAnn Daly, who passed from brain cancer 10 years ago. Sticking up for these kids who have been dealt a tough hand in life is my way of dealing with cancer and all the baggage it brings. I'll keep on shaving the wee bit of fuzz I have until I don't have a single wisp of hair left on my shiny head. And then I'll have to grow a beard or something. Who doesn't like chrome domes with beards? (besides my wife) It's a good look. So help me out! Donate! THANK YOU!
