I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Welcome to 2012 everyone! I'm personally very excited for a year filled with good friends, wonderful events, and as always a few races. In order to start the year off right and remind myself of what true determination looks like, I've decided to shave my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and help raise money to find cures. This particular event is meaningful to be because I had the opportunity to hear about Donna's story first hand through her father who came to talk the the Young Associate Board for Children's Memorial Hospital which I recently joined. As I know I've come to many of you before for donations, I wanted to make sure to again put my money where my mouth is. Therefore, for every $10+ donation made, I will put in $5 as well (capping out at 20 ppl). Come on down to the event and I'll even buy you a drink (aka subsidize your donation!). It'll be a fun evening and you'll get to see me with a bald head that would make a baby's butt jealous of it's smoothness. Hope to see you there! Dan
