I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved (on March 17, 2012)to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Anything you would be willing to give, even $1, helps with finding a cure. I’ve known a few children with cancer, some who have passed away and some who are fighting against it. I have found out that children’s cancer research gets the least funding of all cancer research. Just think, something as simple as the common cold used to be deadly but now we look at it as just another sickness that can be cured. Well let’s turn cancer into just another “common cold” so that our children, grandchildren and so on, don’t have to fear this disease. I’d be honored if you would donate anything you see fit to helping find a cure….or throw a couple of dollars in just to see me nice and bald.
