I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Crusher's Crew `

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. St. Baldrick's shaving is symbolic to stand in solidarity with children often devastated by the effects of the disease and the treatments. It is a very moving experience with the families and the kids there watching and participating at times by helping to shave and by having their own heads shaved in support of their friends and family members and sometimes in anticipation of their own upcoming treatments. There are, unfortunately, so many great cancer related causes. We support this one because more than 80% of funds raised actually goes to support research, clinical trials, etc., for children whom otherwise might have a much diminished chance of making it. There are many ways to participate and support a St, Baldrick's fundraiser that don't involve shaving. If you don't want to go bald, I hope you'll look at those options and join us. We need many good volunteers to help with the event and ANY help with donations is GREAT. Despite the emotional roller-coaster it can be, we manage to have LOADS of fun on shave day. It should be quite a party at Naggy's that day! Thank you!Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
