I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I’ll thank you even more once you’ve donated. The first time I cut my hair to donate to locks for love was in the fall of 2003. A boy cheated on me actually. But instead of dwelling in my own self-pity, I decided to give something to someone else who needed it more than I did. After all, someone always has it worse off than you.

I’ve known about St. Baldricks for a while. Last year was the first event that I attended where I saw person after person shave their head to help raise money for research for children’s cancer. I’m shaving my head willingly. Can you imagine shaving your head because your hair is falling out due to chemo? Can you imagine being a child, and having to go through that?

I’m not the hero here, but you can be. Please help me reach my goal of $5,000. Not only will I donate my hair again, but this time I will be shaving it. If I had $5,000 to give, I would. But I don’t. What I do have is the ability to ask you to donate for me.

Thank you for your contribution. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that I have your support!
