I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am getting my head shaved for the second year in a row, in honor of a family friend, Justin. Justin has been battling Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia since January 2009, and will finish treatment May 2012. He's now 13 years old and has had to do school at home because there are too many germs to fight off at his old school.

Getting my head shaved and raising some money that will go towards research for finding a cure for childhood cancer was an easy decision. I appreciate having my health, and hope this event helps kids like Justin.
