I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fiscus

As most of you know our son Noah was diagnosed with a Neuroblastoma Tumor in his abdomen in December of 2007, I am shaving my head in honor of Noah. As a father, you want to protect your children from all harm, but when you get the news that your child has cancer, you feel utterly helpless. Shaving my head is nothing compared to the battle that Noah is going through. He is an amazing little boy who has not let this evil disease control his life! You would never know he has been through a battlefield with his upbeat attitude, exuberant amount of energy and healthy appetite. Noah is excited to get back to soccer and his friends at school. He is especially excited to be shaving my hair and anyone else! :) Through our faith and many, many prayer warriors Noah and our family has been lifted up! There is a saying that everyday is a gift from God and how true that is when tragedy of any form hits your loved ones. We have learned to lean more on God and know that He is in control. This is such an awesome event for the children of cancer and their families. Wouldn't it be nice that one day as parents we wouldn't have to feel utterly helpless when we get the news that our child has cancer and the outlook looks grim! Please find it in your heart to donate to such a wonderful cause! Thank you! God bless! Loris
