I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my story. I am 24 years old and five years ago I lost my father to cancer. My daddy died from lung cancer that had spread to his brain. Yes, this could have possibly been prevented if he hadn't smoked, but the facts of life stand. He did smoke, and he did pass on. And he did lose his hair- my dad LOVED his hair too! He suffered through chemo and radiation two times- and lost his hair both times. It was hard to see my daddy without his hair, just like it will be hard on everybody else's eyes to see me without hair. So, five years later, here I am, his youngest daughter, going to yet another extreme in hopes that my efforts will someday save lives- of adults and children alike. Thank you to every person out there that is sponsoring me for this amazing cause. And thank you to all the other participants who are willing to go to the extremes to accomplish what needs to be done. Thank you.
