I have been participating in this event since 5 years ago in Hong Kong but only as a donator because I love my hair. But then at the end of the event, I always could not find the full meaning participating in the events and I feel that everyone can do more to support the event.
Why am I having my head shaved this year ? It is to stand in solidarity with kids around the world fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. More importantly, I am doing it to raise funds for childhood cancer research!
Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world is to fund this childhood cancer research. We must all do everything we can to give kids a better chance for a cure.
To support me on behalf of these very special kids, please click "Make a Donation" above, or donate by mail or phone.
Your donation and participation in the event will mean a lot to those kids and nothing will be too big or too small for them. We all can make a change for them and let us do it while we can.
Thank you for your support!
