I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This year will be different in many ways for me. I am newly married and suddenly have 3 children that I adore and quite impulsively I am going to be a Virtual participant for St Baldrick's . org I did not plan ahead to do this, it just sort of happened and now I want to ask my friends and family and friends of friends to support the cause because I believe in the organization. I can also tell you that, as a hospice nurse, I have been working with many cancer patients over these past years and some are just unbelievably inspiring in their fights against Cancer. I hope to be as graceful as some of those whom I have had the privilege to care for in their final weeks, days and hours. This year I will be one of thousands of participants that will support StBaldrick's and their goal to CONQUER KIDs' CANCER!!! I am participant # 458981 Thanks!!!! Lisa B

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

I may be a one-shavee show, but I'll be just as bald – and I hope you'll cheer me on with a donation!

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
