I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Ariel & Team Noah

In 2008 when my twin sister was first battling cancer our family formed Team Ariel and my dad and my brother shaved their heads with Ariel when she started losing her hair. At first I didn't want to be bald, but as I saw what my twin sister was going through my heart hurt. I hated not having her with me in school and at home and I especially hated that people didn't recognize us as twins anymore. We are more than sisters, we are twins and so I shaved my head at St Baldricks in 2008 and for the remainder of Ariel's treatment if she was bald, I was bald and when she got better, we spent our time growing our hair out together. Now her cancer is back and it's pretty simple this time: My twin sister has lost her hair so I will be bald too. We came into the world together and she's a part of me. I wish she didn't have to go through this at all but as long as she has to fight this disease, one thing will always remain the same, we are twins and twins look alike. Please consider making a donation to help us find a cure for childrens cancer. Elora
