My hair is part of my identity and this is true for most people. However, I've been putting fun color in my hair long enough that people expect it and recognize me by it. My hair is short, but its me and people love it. Complete strangers start conversations with me because of it. But, I'm willing to shave it off and give it up because I know there are lots of kids out there who get cancer and don't have a choice in whether they get to keep their hair or not (and with it, part of their physical, recognizable identity). Raising money by shaving my head is the least I can do to honor and support them. -Hallie

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
