I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: David's LIVE BIG Team

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.


I am doing to show my students that when something is important you fight for it. We have decided that hair is hair, it grows. We can’t get people back, but hair grows. Such powerful thoughts and ideas for 10 and 11 year olds. Over the past few years of my mother's experiences with aplastic anemia, I have learned and seen a lot. I have spent time on oncology floors and in immunology labs. I have hated every second of it, but would not do a thing any different. I have seen the faces and felt the pains and it is raw. I hate cancer. It sucks!

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
