I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

St. Baldricks is a fundraiser that raises money for childhood cancer research primarily through head-shaving events. St. Baldricks specializes in giving every penny of your money to kids with cancer, and trying to make their life a better place. You might know Michael Goldspiel as a principal, as a friend or a relative, yet he will be shaving his head in St. Baldricks, March 16 2011!
You are all welcomed to come! I am Sofia Castillo, and last year was my first year of St. Baldricks.
I started St. Baldricks because of one reason and that was because of Valeria, my best friend. She passed away that year and it was really hard for me to go through and believing that she wasn't with me. I imagined other families going through the same and other kids just like her who are trying to beat it, so i decided to join St. Baldricks. This year will be very special because i will be honoring Michael Goldspiel. Please donate money to Michael Goldspiel if you want him to shave his head :) Thank you
