For 4 years I listened to Lea every morning to hear Caring Bridge updates. Sometimes the updates were happy and sometimes they were heartbreaking. I prayed for these kids and cried for them too. Because of Lea and her updates on these kids I knew I wanted to do something to help and this is one way I can do that. This is my first year participating in St.Baldricks ,so I'm kinda nervous ,but really excited!! I'm also scared of what other kids will think, because I'm only 11 and sitll in school.Other kids may laugh ,but I don't care because I know I'm doing it for a good reason.I can't wait to shave my head so I can make a difference and help find a cure!!!
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
