I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team MJK

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team MJK

Here is a little bit about me. I am currently a freshman at the University of Louisville majoring in Pre-Law, and I currently play on the men's lacrosse team at U of L. This is my first time participating in this event. I do not know how much I should ask for contributions for this but I do know that unless we band together as a nation we cannot defeat childhood cancer or cancer alone. Events like this help raise money so our family, friends, and neighbors can not only get treatment but also get new and up to date medicine to battle this vicious disease. If we exceed the amount I wish to raise then I would be more than happy. Two of the people I am sponsoring are Mitchell Klausing and Evan Gates were in my class at St. Xavier High School. Though they may not be alive their footsteps still echo in the halls of St. X.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
