Hello everyone! I look at my daughter and cannot imagine having to take her down week after week after week to get treatments in the event that she came down with cancer. We are blessed to have a very healthy and happy (almost) 2 year old daughter. That said- things can change in an instant. I was at Leann and George's house the day Lisa called and said that they found the red bumps on Michael and that Mike and Susan were taking him to the doctor. I can still remember how I felt when I found out that he had cancer not too long after that. It really hit home- my daughter isn't too much younger than he is. I know that the only thing that we can offer people in this situation is our love and support- and sometimes things like this come along where we can do a little something to raise both awareness and funds for cancer prevention research. I hope all of you will find it in your hearts to donate even a little bit of money to help fund the research to finally put an end to cancer. There is nobody on this planet that cancer hasn't affected in one way or another- lets do our best to help put a stop to it. Thank you so much. I am happy and proud to do my part.
You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Thank you for your support!
