I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

With over 85 inches of snow, and much of it still on the ground, there are more appropriate times to think about shaving my head. But I’m getting buzzed anyway. For the 11th time, I will be getting my head shaved to raise money for St Baldrick’s organization. You probably already know about the organization’s commitment to finding cures for childhood cancer. Since inception in 2000, they have raised over $90 million including $22 million last year. Because of our past support, St Baldrick’ organization: • Provides financial support to virtually every institution in North America with expertise to treat childhood cancer. • Has funded 45 fellowships to doctors devoted specifically to childhood oncology. • Provides scholarship to young professionals dedicated to childhood oncology research. • Allows me to enjoy a couple pints of green beer on St Patrick’s day and end up looking like a hairless Brad Pitt……well, maybe it will take the observer a few pints to see Brad Pitt, but trust me.
