Each spring, in Raleigh, hundreds of people – men, women, children, young, and old, raise tens of thousands of dollars for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation:
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. They currently fund more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization except the US government.
Participants in St. Baldrick’s solicit donations from family and friends, and in turn, have their head shaved on St. Baldrick’s day as a show of solidarity for children who are suffering from childhood cancers. On Saturday, March 5th, I will be one of the St. Baldrick’s “shavees”.
When I was overseas in Kuwait, my niece, Megan Hodges was diagnosed and underwent treatment for a brain tumor. She is cancer-free and has been since 2007. Her father began participating in St. Baldrick’s events in 2007 and this year I have decided to join him, along with my brother Curtis.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So in asking for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Chris
