I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I hate cancer. It's cruel and unforgiving and I'm bitter about having lost people I've known and loved. And while nothing about cancer is ever easy, my heart sinks and absolutely breaks when it goes after children. Could there be anything worse? No, I don't think so. And so, once again, I'm answering the call to help. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with all these brave kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I humbly ask for your support by donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government (in fact, fully 96 cents out of every dollar raised actually goes toward cancer research). And the way things are headed, how much longer can we really count on federal funding support? Your gift will certainly help and support the infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, it's really not about me. I'm really asking you to support these kids. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
