I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Violet Kate

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Information about my hair: Growing up I kept a "high and tight" military cut until January of 1997. In January of 1997 I received a military hair cut for the last time, and have not cut my hair's length since. That's right, that is 14 years. My lovely locks currently measures 21 inches from the back of the scalp to the end. My hair has been adored by women and made fun of by men.
