I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's that time of year as I plan to shave my head for the 2nd time ever to raise money for childhood cancer research. Many of you donated and helped me raise over $1,000 last year. I was so proud that you helped me do this in ONE week. These efforts are to help raise money for all children but this year I am honoring Berend "Ber" who I met right after I shaved my head last year. I met Ber while eating lunch at Chipotle. I noticed that he had a shaved head, and I said to him that I liked his haircut. Ber, a little shy at first, came up to me and handed me a business card with a link to his CaringBridge webpage, http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ber/mystory, which told of his story and battle against Neuroblastoma. This year the event will mean a little bit more to me, as I honor all children with cancer and work toward raising money for a cure for kids like Ber. Thanks for listening to my story. Please support me in my efforts and donate. Also, it would be great if you could attend the Church Hill Irish Festival to cheer me on as well.
