I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Patriots

Yeah, I know, shaving my head seems like a moot point. Ten years ago, I lost my hair after my first round of chemotherapy. After finishing chemo, I decided to keep my hair off so I would never forget where I'd been. So, to support St. Baldrick's and our Bald Patriots Team, I have been growing my beard to have shaved off on March 5th!

As I signed on to this effort, I remembered checking in for my first week long round of chemo. My friend's four year old son insisted that his dad drive him the three hours so he could be with me. At four years old, he had more experience than me; he had been diagnosed with leukemia 6 months earlier. He wanted to help me be brave! I am thrilled to say that we are both still survivors. Let's make that possible for more children.

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
