I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Wissahickon Lacrosse

Hello Family and friends, Yep! you heard right, I'm shaving my head again. My name is Liam Lacon and I am 11 years old. Each year, 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada. Research saves lives. I found out about St. Baldricks day from my Uncle Liam. You shave your head to support cancer awareness. St. Baldricks is an organization that funds childhood cancer research. The St. Baldrick's Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except for the U.S. government. I want to help children who are sick. I feel bad for them because sometimes they can’t go out and play like my friends and me, play township sports, and other activities. I want to help the doctors find a cure so they can get better. I am also interested in helping because my cousin Corey has cancer and I would be so happy if he were cured. Please help me raise money and make a donation. I will be shaving my head on March 12th 2011 in Philadelphia, PA McFadden’s Ballpark with my brother and his lacrosse team. Last year this event rose up to $16,628,737 for cancer research. This year I want to help and raise even more money. Help me make a difference.
