I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Johnathon Chaim Riley was born 1/29/11 @ 12:24am, a petite 6lbs4oz. Delivery was amazingly fast and he was very pink and naturally crying. He ate a little boob milk immediately, took his required pics, then he and Robyn took a much needed rest... ...that's where the nurse noticed Johnathon's color started to change...basically, he has trouble with his heart valve, and will for a while. He'll be a normal active child and will be treated that way ( how can he not be active in this family, right.) but Johnathon will need a few open heart surgeries early in his life to help him get that way. At Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, he had the best doctors and best nurses for his condition, and I want to help make sure Hope Hospital can continue being the best at what they do for children in Illinois. Hope Children's Hospital is having their first ever St. Baldricks Foundation Fund Raiser. Big brother Jack and I have decided to participate by allowing them to shave my masculine, thick, black mane (shut up, I know it's gray too!) to reveal what quite possibly could be a bald head that resembles an ankle.
