I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Albany Broadcasting Radio Family

Three years ago I was honored to join in this amazing event, and I have been hooked ever since! In 2007 my Grandmother passed away from Cancer and I am still mourning losing her. She was, and continues to be a very, if not the, most influential person in my life....and I cannot even imagine a family having to help a child go through what I watched her go through. If I can help so even just one child can avoid that kind of pain than it helps me remember my Grandmother and what I feel she stood for. I'm hoping that with my passion for this cause and the willingness of my colleges at JAMZ 96.3, B 95.5, FLY 92.3, 104.9 The Cat, 100.9 The Bridge, Magic 590 AM and 100.3 The Point, we can reach our teams goal and set new goals for the event! Thank you for your support and I cannot wait to see you at this event! ~Katie aka Special K
