I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Sometimes I wonder why I hurt all of the sudden in the middle of my play time. And sometimes I wonder why my head is different than my friends, why don’t I have hair like the other kids. Why am I spending most of my time in the hospitals, why am I seeing my doctor more than I see my friends and why do I need to take these never-ending pills…. Why can’t I just be a kid?

Thanks God I was one of the lucky ones that didn’t have to deal with these conditions in my childhood. Unfortunately in the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease.

In our daily challenges we forget the importance of being healthy and being thankful for it.
I am shaving my head on February 24th in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
Help me helping these little hearts win their big battle against life. “Hope is a good thing and no good thing ever dies…”

Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
