I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thanks to everyone for helping me make my goal.
As of shave day we had $5235...
If you didn't have a chance to donate, it is not too late...

As a neurosurgeon, I have had the opportunity to shave several heads, but it will be a little different being on the other end of the clippers. I also had the privilege to treat several children with brain tumors during my residency training. I was always amazed with the resilience and strength of these children.

I chose to participate in this event after hearing about a 2 year old with a neuroblastoma listed in our church lifegroup's prayer list. I know that this could have just as easily been, or could be, one of my kids. If this money helps in any small way, I will be thankful.
