I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: West Staff

For the past two years, the school that I teach at (McHenry High School) has been helping to raise money for a foundation called St. Baldrick's which raises money to for kids' cancer research. All participants shave their heads in a move of solidarity with children with cancer who usually lose their hair during the chemo process. Normally, I wouldn't solicit funds from my friends and family unless I truly believed what a great cause it was. Our school has raised over $50,000 over the past two years. We hope to raise more money than we ever have before this year. If you'd like to help the cause, please click the "Make a Donation" button and contribute. Even if you can only spare $5...if all of my friends and family contributed just that much, we could raise a LOT of money to support a GREAT cause. Thank you!!
