St. Patrick's Day is Thursday, March 17th and there is no more rewarding way to spend the day than to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation event being held at Jim Brady's. Please come cheer on our brave shavees as they shave their heads in support of finding a cure for childhood cancer! I am organizing this year's event and can use all the support of my friends and family to reach our event goal of $200,000! Please make a donation to this event, and if your schedule permits, come watch us “shaving the way to conquer kids’ cancer!” This is a fun way to do something very important and as an IRS recongnized charity, you donation is tax deductible! Over the last several years, thousands of volunteers like me have raised more than $56 million for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. And, as an IRS recognized charity, your donation is tax deductible.
In 2010 alone, St. Baldrick's gave over $14 million in grants to institutions focusing on pediatric cancer – that’s more in grants for childhood cancer research than any other organization except the U.S. government. And all because nearly 38,000 people shaved their heads or volunteered in other fundraising activities on behalf of St. Baldricks!
You can give directly online (search for Colleen Dunn at www.StBaldricks.org) or by phone (888-899-BALD). Credit cards are the most efficient way to give, or you can write a check payable to
“St. Baldrick’s Foundation.” Checks can be mailed to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, 1333 S. Mayflower Avenue, Suite 400, Monrovia CA 91016. Also, don’t forget to get your employer involved since many companies have matching gift programs. Every dollar we raise counts!
On behalf of some very special kids, thank you for your support!
