I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: RUSH Peds Hair Today Gone Tomorrow Round Deuce

Yes, yes, I'm back, y'all! So I finally worked up the courage to participate in St. Baldrick's for the first time last year, and I learned a few things: 1. I have an absolutely enormous head that is not especially attractive when shaved 2. My son really enjoyed discussing daddy's "big haircut" 3. Being bald didn't help my 40 yard dash time at all (although it did cut down significantly on my prep time before going to work in the morning) 4. I had a blast and can't wait to do it again this year In the time since my last St. Baldrick's, I have seen some amazing triumphs, but those have not come without the occasional tragedy. It's very reassuring to see those good outcomes, because it shows how effective the money being used for pediatric cancer research has been, but it doesn't take many bad outcomes to realize that there is still much to be done. I encourage all of you reading this page to consider getting involved, whether that means making a donation, volunteering to become a shavee, helping out at a St. Baldrick's event, or just sharing a kind word and a smile should you ever meet a pediatric cancer patient. Every little bit helps, and it does make a difference, I promise. Thank you again for taking the time to check out my page. Feel free to check back after February 24th to see the final product!
