I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Wiggle-Butts
I’m getting my head shaved this year to show solidarity with kids who are battling cancer. I’m participating in an event called St Baldricks. It’s the biggest fundraiser for research to find cures to beat this beast. The event combines fun and reward – it occurs all over the US around St Patty’s Day - this year at The Hibernian Pub in Raleigh it occurs on March 5. Last year the Hibernian event ranked 7th of 805 national events! So put a price on my head and please donate! Remember – its tax-deductable too! Go to www.stbaldricks.org and plug in Tom Darling (Shavee) under “Find A Participant” or fill out a donation form and give to me with cash or check payment – you can remain anonymous if you like. The kids (and I) thank you very much for your love and care.
PS – Please join me at The Hibernian with hundreds of others for this very fun and rewarding time of fellowship.
PSS - My shave time is 3PM.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
