Hey everyone! Welcome to my page! Thats right, I am shaving every inch of my head to raise money and honor those kids who battle cancer every day. I am a 3rd year nursing student at UVA and have been blessed enough to be able to meet many brave kids who were fighting for their lives. While I was able to offer them basic care, I was the one who was touched. Each one of them touched my life in one way or another and I was introduced to a bravery that could not be matched. I owe each one of them so much for the many lessons they taught me. While I will never be able to fully understand the experience they had, it is my goal to honor each child and adult as much as I can. That is why I am aiming to raise crucial funds to bring us closer to making cancer yesterday's disease while showing each child how much I admire them by shaving my head in their honor. While I am shaving my head in honor of the kids, I am also doing it in honor of my dear Grandfather, Tom McClelland who battled cancer for several months last year .
