I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am shaving my head in memory of my sweet ^Matthew^ who went to live in Heaven on Mother's Day in 2009. He fought a nine year battle against a brain tumor. He was brave, courageous and such a blessed child. I miss him every day and hope that he is proud of my efforts to help in the research for a cure for ALL forms of pediatric cancer. I shave in memory of Sophia B. who I never knew in person, but know and love through the memories her mom shares with me. I shave in honor of Jarod, Nicholas, Logan, and all of the other children who have been affected by pediatric cancer. I shave in honor of their mothers, fathers and siblings who fight this battle alongside them. I will be shaving with 45 other moms of kids who have cancer, have been "cured" of cancer or lost their battle against cancer. We come from all over the United States and we will "shave for the brave" on September 13th at Union Station in Washington, DC. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
