You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease.
After beating pediatric cancer myself, this is very important to me. To give back to others who are still fighting. My neighbor, a 4 year old boy, has only known how to fight cancer. He was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor during his second year of life in this world. He is a true fighter and is now in remission. My family and I are doing this for me, for him and for all the other fighters out there.
So please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
