I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Carolina Air Care & Friends

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

This is my second year participating, and I'm even more excited than last year. I felt so humbled by the hope these children have, and so honored to be able to do something to help. I know everyone thinks because I have short hair that it isn't a very big deal to shave my head. Let me tell you, BALD is totally different than short hair! Much colder for one. And, I understand how these kids might feel, lots of stares. All of it is totally worth it though to raise money for much needed research.
