I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BSNs: Bald Student Nurses

Hello friends and family! Say goodbye to my hair, because on March 24, 2011, I am going to be BALD! I am shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s, an organization dedicated to funding research for a cure for childhood cancer. This cause is so important to me! As a third year nursing student at UVA, I have been blessed to come into contact with some of the most amazing children who are currently battling many forms of cancer. I am shaving my head in solidarity with them and in honor of some of the special people in my life who have battled cancer. I need your support! I am trying to raise critical funds to help find a cure for childhood cancer, and you can help me! There are so many ways you can show your support, whether it is by donating, coming to the event on March 24, or praying for the cause and the lives it will touch.
