I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

So I got an invitation to go bald for a cure. As a mother, a daughter, an aunt, a teacher in training, advocate for and a friend to many children, how could I say no to shaving my head in order to raise funds to cure pediatric cancers? Vanity, schmanity. I will go bald in memory of Teddy, beloved nephew of East Nashville neighbors. And in honor and support of Hunter, a young Murfreesboro boy undergoing treatment right now. And in support of Bradley and Mac, survivor sons of my friend and co-worker Ginger and Linn, respectively. They are ALL our children. I had to say yes. Now won't YOU say yes, too? Say yes to donating whatever you are able (ten, thirty, fifty....) toward my goal of raising $1000 for pediatric cancer research?
