I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Every year for the past 3 years, I have volunteered at our St. Baldrick's Event in Winston-Salem to Honor our children at Brenner's Children's Hospital (Camp Brenner as we call it). We not only honor my son, Vinny, who is fighting childhood cancer for a second time, but we honor all of the children, past and present who endure this disease every year on our ward. Many of the children I have known have beat their cancer and gone on to be Survivors. Many have relapsed. Many have earned their wings. Childhood Cancer is considered "rare" and there is not too much awareness of funding out there to find a cure. St. Baldrick's is our main source of Childhood Cancer funding and one of our only hopes for a CURE. Please help find this cure. No amount of money is too small to save these children.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
