I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

I am supporting the 46 Mommas as they shave for the brave this September in Los Angeles, California. My daughter, Alexa Rachael, was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma, a very rare brain cancer, on her 5th Birthday. After over five years of a very hard-fought battle with this ugly demon, she finally lost the fight on 5/15/09. She was only 10 years old! My dream is that no parent will ever have to go through what our family went through and is still struggling with as we wind our way through the cancer maze. In our country funding for pediatric cancer is sorely lacking, and it is time to make a change. Please watch the 46 Mommas on Stand Up To Cancer on September 10th, 2010, and please donate to make a difference. Our young warriors in heaven and here on earth need you!! To read about Alexa's journey, go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/alexarachael Thank you for your suppport!!!!!!!
