I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Get shaved ! I have decided that now is the right time to do something daft. For charity. Most of my previous daft endeavours haven't been for a cause as worthy as this one, as easy to achieve, or totally without pain, risk of drowning or getting lost. This one just requires that I sit still. On Saturday 29th May I will have my head shaved in support of the St Baldrick's Foundation for children with cancer. The event (if we can call a group of people having a haircut an "event") is at the Aberdeen Boat Club on Saturday afternoon 29th May at 230pm. If any of you are free that day please come along to witness the shearing, and I will buy you a beer. If you can't come along, full photographic technicolour evidence will be provided for those over 18. To make this work as a charitable event I need sponsors. How about coughing up some cash for a worthy cause? If you'd like to sponsor me please go the event web page http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/participantid/409249. The sponsorship link accepts cheque and credit card donations in Hong Kong and US Dollars. I hope to see you on the 29th. Bring dark glasses to protect against the glare of the chromedome.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
