I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm very excited to do St. Baldrick's this year. I have never done it before but when I first heard about it I knew it was something I wanted to experience for myself. I'm excited to be given the opportunity to help others. I will also be donating my hair to locks of love. I've had a lot of people ask why I wanted to do this, when I could do other things that wouldn't require me to shave my head. But the reason I want to do this is so much because I would have to shave my head. I believe the meaning behind it - giving up something I treasure - to help others and to unite myself with them is a wonderful thing. I would love to over exceed my goal, but I believe that anything I do to help is more than they had before.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
