I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Aflac Cancer Center

I'm very thankful for being blessed with good health. I've lost friends and family to breast cancer & throat cancer, my grandfather is currently fighting prostate cancer, and I have a dear friend who is a survivor of Hodgkins lymphoma. I can't imagine a child having to go through any of the things I've witnessed my loved ones experiencing. That's why I chose to take an active role in helping the fight against cancer. This is my second fund raiser in a year, and I plan to participate in as many more as possible. Much like the beard I grew in November for prostate cancer, a shaved head makes an instant statement, and is a great way to bring the topic of childhood cancer into a conversation. Each year, thousands of St. Baldrick’s volunteers shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer while raising money to support childhood cancer research, so don't you want to get involved too, by making a dontation!?
