I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Several years ago I was in training to walk a marathon in honor of my Uncle Bob. While I was still in training, he lost his battle with cancer and I completed the event in his memory. Recently, I have been letting my algebra class with the highest average vote on my hair color. So far, I have had purple, green, red, and pink, though not at the same time. When I realized there was a St. Baldrick's event coming up in the area, I amended the rules and told my students if they would vote unanimously for me to be bald, that I would raise money for childhood cancer. You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
