I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Towers Watson

In these times of economic turmoil and near-term disasters around the globe, it is easy to forget that we are also charged with fixing long-term issues in the world. In fact, just like individuals across the country are struggling in this environment, so too are not-for-profit entities, and children who are struggling with cancer every day. St. Baldrick's fights for this profoundly noble cause, and I will continue helping out to raise money this year in any way I can. Namely, to look as ridiculous as possible to raise money and awareness for St. Baldrick's. That's why I have decided to complete St. Baldrick's 2010 in three phases: Phase 1: Don't cut hair or beard for several months. Be reminded of why I don't grow out hair for several months (see: look like a caveman). Be reminded that I should enjoy being able to grow out hair for several months. Phase 2: Bleach hair, removing and remaining pigment and/or dignity remaining at this point. Endure snickering and jeers from friends and family, proving to them that yes, it could be worse. Raise money to help out others. Phase 3: Friday, March 5th. Again, one-up the nay-sayers, and look absolutely ridiculous, and hope to help the Towers Watson team surpass last year's totals. Please help me and the team support this most worthy cause in any way you can. Thank you!!! Dan
