I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Budha

I signed up about 3 weeks ago to shave my head for St. Baldrick's. I thought of it as a way to celebrate my 16-year remission from Hodgkin's Disease. In an ironic twist that Academy Award winning producers couldn't top, I was diagnosed with Periphereal T-cell Lymphoma just this week. I go for several tests next week and will probably start chemotherapy end of the month. I am charging ahead with my baldness! This is the reason St. Baldrick's raises money each year, to prevent children and adults from having to fight the fight I will begin again soon. I am blessed to have been given the last 16 years, and was rewarded with a beautiful 9 year-old son who makes the sun shine everyday in my world and friends and family who share the ride with me! So I shave my head this year in defiance of cancer! I shave in honor of a coworker's beloved son, Michael, and in honor of myself, dammnitt! I will rock the baldness!! And to piss cancer off a little more, I'm going to give alot of money to it's destroyer! Please donate what you can, help me put a boot in cancer's ass!
