I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hike For Hope

Cancer is a terrible disease that has touched us all in some way in each of our lives. I consider myself extremely fortunate that my close encounters of loved ones who have had this disease have survived. I realize that this good fortune is not without cost. Many have spent their lives dedicated to the research so that there can be stories of success. For this, I am eternally greatful. Having benefited from this research that has made a cure possible for many types of cancer, I want to do my part in helping to ensure that research and development contiunues so that someday, this disease may no longer serve as a question of one's mortality. I would like to dedicate my efforts to those survivors who showed me what real courage is: David and Joe Bryan, Sybil Shirley, Alexandria Baldivieso, and the strongest person I know, my mother, Connie Hubbard.
